Ascent Physical Therapist, PLLC is looking to hire a Part-Time progressing to Full Time Licensed Massage Therapist to join our fast-growing team. Based in North Massapequa, Long Island, we’re looking for a committed and energetic Licensed Massage Therapist to provide world-class therapy services to our clients. Success in this role will be measured upon successful treatment outcomes, customer satisfaction, timely and accurate documentation of clinical notes, as well as meticulous attention paid to current and former clients. This role has the potential to convert to Full Time.

Responsibilities:

Perform massage therapy treatments on clients in collaboration with our Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Work with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Communicate effectively with our Doctor(s) of Physical Therapy and other members of our team to provide coordinated care.

Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and how it can be used in conjunction with physical therapy to promote healing and pain relief.
Required Criteria:

A valid license to practice massage therapy in the state of New York.

Experience working in a healthcare setting, specifically with endurance athletes or active adults.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

A passion for helping clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Ability to manage clients with different personalities.

Meet personal and team revenue/sales/productivity targets and performance-oriented metrics.

Use clinical reasoning in treating and planning, implementing, and monitoring client progress.

Ability to write reports and correspondence at a professional level.

Ability to use computer and software proficiently.
